Compliance to Fraud, Prevention, Detection and Investigation of Frauds & White Collar Crimes in Banks, Public and Private Sector. Forensic largely means "suitable for use in a court of law", i.e. what stands to legal scrutiny is what is right and what it should be. So when we talk about forensic accounting, we mean the accounting that is right, created, protected and supported by strong cannons and will stand to legal scrutiny. Thus the essence of Forensic Audit & Accounting is the assessment of accounting systems and accounts presentation wherein numbers reflect reality and can definitely be relied upon and if numbers do not reflect reality they cannot be relied upon. Fraud Investigation therefore becomes the essence of Forensic Accounting Services which reveals the insight story of accounting systems and accounts presentation and its reliability. |

Our Approach |
AKG follows an effective two-mode approach for Fraud Investigation. |
In the first mode, AKG undertakes the business system analysis of the corporate. On understanding the complete operation, we focus on the vulnerable areas as assessed during analysis. If the vulnerability goes deeper we find out the existing wrongs, if -any, and then bring the wrongs to their logical conclusions. |
In the second mode, where the wrongs have already surfaced and company is aware that they have been hit; AKG moves in to take the matter forward in totality and to bring the wrongs to their logical conclusion. This Approach comes in very handy for the corporates who do not have in-house expertise in fraud investigation. Investigation is a very tricky area as it is an art and no two situations can be the same. Hence investigation cannot be standardized and legal outcome invariability is directly depends on how well the homework is done. |
